A fire destroyed at least 11 shops in Sakipur, Tangail. The incident took place at Inderjani Bazar of Kakrajan Union in Upazila around 6 pm on Friday.

Around 8 pm,

A unit from the Ghatil Fire Department and Civil Defense also joined. The fire was controlled after work, which lasted an hour and a half. A witness, Hafeezur Rahman, said that the functioning of that market revolved around the burnt shops. The fire destroyed at least 11 stores. Among these stores are wholesale shops for products such as petrol and monohari.
